Alex is a registered Psychologist with experience delivering evidence-based psychological therapy and conducting comprehensive neurodevelopmental and mental health assessments for children, adolescents, and young adults presenting with a range of emotional, behavioural, psychosocial, and neurodevelopmental needs across school-based, community mental health, hospital, and private practice settings.
At the Young Carer Wellbeing Hub, Alex is passionate about supporting Young Carers to navigate the unique challenges of balancing their caring role with their own wellbeing. He enjoys combining therapy and assessment to help young people and their families better understand their experiences, recognise their strengths, and access meaningful supports.
Alex takes a neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, and person-centred approach, working collaboratively with young people, families, schools, and other professionals to provide care that is compassionate, practical, and tailored to each individual’s needs. He is committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space where Young Carers feel heard, understood, and empowered to build resilience, prioritise their wellbeing, and thrive.
